Under Construction: A Habitat for Humanity Vacation Bible Camp August 11-15; 9:00am-12:30pm Guardian Angels Church
Under Construction: A Habitat for Humanity Vacation Bible Camp uses a construction metaphor to help children learn about community. While our coalition begins to build our Habitat House, the children will discover the joy of giving whle they meet the needs of others-just like Jesus did! The setting for Under Construction is a construction site. Children assume the role of construction crew members and rotate between various job sites. The site leaders (Engineers) help the children learn through play, stories, art projects, etc. all about the love of Jesus. Under Construction is open to all children ages 4-12. The cost for the week long program is $35 for one child, $60 for two, and a maximum of $70 for 3 or more children. Many volunteers are needed to make Under Construction a success. If you have completed the 6th grade or above, and want to work with children, please consider volunteering. Children of adult volunteers attend FREE!
